This study analyzes the pedagogical reform of a Multiprofessional Residency Program in Family Health, focusing on the implementation and strengthening of interprofessionality and collaborative practices in Primary Health Care. The research, with a qualitative approach, was conducted through retrospective document analysis. The analysis considered reflections on learning concepts, competency-based curricula, competency profiles, the construction of Educational Units, assessment strategies, and the challenges encountered. The results indicate that the new curricular structure supports both specific professional training and interprofessional collaboration. The active teaching-learning methodologies adopted are essential for developing the competencies required in Primary Health Care, particularly those related to interprofessional practice. Among the challenges identified were the training of tutors and preceptors and the lack of managerial support for expanding the team of facilitators. It is concluded that organizing a curriculum aligned with interprofessional pedagogical practices enhances resident training, strengthens comprehensive care, and may contribute to the operationalization of interprofessional work within the healthcare network.
